Spring Fever In Eastern Iowa

It’s been awhile and an update is needed badly. I don’t have much - so I’ll keep this short.
I have spring fever.

We got socked twice with a couple big storms here this winter. We enjoyed a moderate amount of snowfall and cold weather. Enough is enough. Let’s bring on the mowing, the outdoor eating and cooking. The camping, morel hunting and golfing.
There is still plenty of snow in on the ground here in eastern Iowa. Our yard, which we are still becoming acquainted with since moving in in November is really great for all seasons. Its private and eventually hooks onto some hilly wooded land. We actually snowboard quite a bit right out our back door. Its not Breckenridge, but amazingly enough, you can actually ride pretty far and even get enough speed for a couple carves by the time you get to the bottom. Lots of fun - especially after healthy doses of Burnett’s Vodka and Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice.
Keep thinking warm thoughts. Spring is right around the corner and I for one, am ready.
